If you bought your computer new it most likely came with a lot of software (sometimes known as blot ware) that you don’t need or want. This factory installed software is useless and slows down your PC. Sometimes new PCs come with a “restore” disk or a partition on your hard drive that allows you to put your PC back to factory condition. The bad thing is it wipes your hard drive clean and then puts back on all that blot ware. Then format your hard drive and do a “clean” XP or Vista installation adding only the programs you use.
